    It needs to be a win, but it doesn't have to be a beat down. 1-0 would be fine. Canada is disciplined and athletically can hang. Frankly I don't expect the fireworks like what Mexico just put up, but we can win this thing Italian style very easily.

    Another thing to think about is that Monta Ellis is about as a bad a fit you can find for Derrick's style. Dominates the ball, takes too many shots, high usage rate etc. Isn't that what everyone said about LeBron and Wade? LeBron's one of the best passers in NBA history.

    most 22 year olds with nba talent are definitely not trying to lead their team to the final four. That's not what he said. It also isn't relevant to my overall point, which is that Rose will get better. I just don't see where. He's not suddenly going to become a great jump shooter if he didn't after spending the last two offseasons working on that. I guess maybe he will start to get more calls as a result of his stature. Post up game, better decision making, general experience and although it's sketchy to use an exception to prove a rule, Jason Kidd used to be a brick layer, now he's a very good 3 point shooter. It's not impossible to be a better shooter. Especially if he continues to get stronger in the gym and can get more endurance and lift on his jumper. His shot goes flat because he gets tired. Barring injury, it's impossible he won't get better to some degree.

    Great [expletive] season. I believe in GarPax, Thibs & ownership. They'll do what they can. I don't have to look forward to Kirk Hinrich, Eddie Robinson, Ron Artest, Jalen Rose, Marcus Fizer, Eddy Curry, Ben Gordon, Ben Wallace, etc. We have D Rose. It's pretty good to be a Bulls fan.

    I know it's not time for the postmortem quite yet, but even though LeBron is LeBron, Omer will get better, Taj will get better, Derrick will get better, Thibs will get better and who knows what moves they'll be able to make. This isn't an Indiana or New York during the 90's situation.

    Sure would be nice if we had a SG or SF that could exploit the fact that their SF guards our PG and their SG guards our SF. [expletive] ridiculous. 6'2 dudes can't dribble at 5 players alone no matter who it is. Credit to Miami. I don't think they sand bagged the regular season either. The playoffs just took them to another level defensively. Their foot movement as a unit is insane. Bulls in 7.
