Let's acknowledge a couple of things. First, an average night of finishing and we'd have around a 4-0 win which would be perfectly acceptable. This is true. Second, none of us here are stupid, reactionary idiots who want to fire Bob after every non-domination. But, how many times have we seen the lethargic performances starting games? How many times have we heard quotes like this: "“It was an OK performance: a little bit lifeless, but that's kind of the way it's been so far … Maybe the Panama game [a 2-1 loss] knocked some stuffing out of us.” -Tim Howard I know what you're saying, Tim. It's probably true, but come on, man. Screw your stuffing. You're supposed to be the big badasses on the CONCACAF block. Even if you have a bad loss, you come out and punk the next team that dares step on the field with you. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR LETHARGY. Bob is clearly not a motivator. Tactically, he's alright. He has some brilliant looking games and some bad games and people want to give him credit when they're good and kill him when they're bad. You know it means when someone is either brilliant or baffled tactically? It means he's not a good tactician. I'm at my limit, I'm officially in the "Bob Bradley is not our best option" camp. No matter what. Even if they go on a lucky run, beat Spain and almost win the Confederation's Cup after completely [expletive] their pants in the first two games and needing an inconceivable amount of luck to even make it out of the group. Oh wait, that already happened, and he's been living on it for years. Fact is, Landon isn't a talisman, Clint isn't vocal and Carlos is a laid back dude. I don't know who in the pool that should start is also a motivator, but we need to find it. This "lethargy" is unacceptable.
