yea, it was part of the joke. Cool, just checking. Thought I might have missed a memo or something. Um...why is it out again? It's nondiscriptive and has pejorative canotations. It's still in use in geogrpahy. Oriental = East, Oxidental =West. Where those terms came from is beyond me. They are derivations of the latin terms for East (oriens meaning "east" (lit. "rising" < orior "rise") and West (occidens meaning "west" (lit. "setting" < "occido" "fall/set"). Interestingly enough, it is only a perjorative term when refering to a person and only really here in North America. It is still common and not offensive in Europe, even the UK. Wikipedia is so cool!
