    I'm still holding out on listening or watching the games for the good of the team. (You're welcome, everyone.) Anyone willing to do PBP?

    Z was perfect thru three. Bottom third, Murton with an IF single and Kendall up to bat when the tarp came back out on the field. Murton's single is the only blemish on either pitcher's line thru 2.5+ innings. Thanks CmP.

    There is no game status right now. It's raining too hard for them to play and will continue to do so for the next long while still. Cool. what is the score, inning, game sit when the rain came, how did the Cubs and Cards seem to be doing etc.

    I would like my sacrifice noted for the record. I am intentionally not listening to the game on the radio and not watching on TV but following it here because that has worked well the last two games. I am missing this for cubs fans everywhere. I hope you all appreciate it. You're welcome.

    hmmmm...the last two games I have not watched or listened and only followed tha game here. Now it is Saturday and I have the option of watching listening but not of following things here. hmmmmmmmm...what to do.

    Hey how about we table the discussion of the definition and reality of racism for after the game, huh? What is the game situation, please, for those of us who are relying on this game thread for info about the game?

    The sad thing is, if Jacque Jones hit 60 HRs and was given nightly curtain calls he would still never like the Cubs. For some reason, the Cubs fans just hated him like no other Cubs. Think about all of our bad FAs signings, none were ever hated as much as Jacque. The man hit a career high in HRs and was still hated by the Cubs. Not fair, and I feel really bad for the guy because you have to believe that he thinks racism is the reason. Todd Hundley. Put away the race card. He flipped off the fans. He brought that all on himself. Whatever the reason, Hundley was more hated than JJ. Think about the crap white guys who catch a pass though. Augie, Koyie Hill, Paul Baco. None of them caught what our black guys did. Illini you really arent being serious right? Augie Koyie Hill and Paul Baco came here with no expectations, compared to Latroy Hawkins, JJ, and others, and thats not even mentioning the money they made compared to Augie etc... I guess you are right with the expectations thing. But Patterson was ripped and he wasn't amking any money. I sometimes think race plays a factor in it. I think Patterson was ripped because he failed to live up to the hype.
