lee's defense was pretty bad early in the year but it's improved (at least he has cut way back on the errors). elvis andrus made 32 errors in 106 games at low A, 31 errors in 125 games at high A and 32 errors in 109 games at AA. he leads the AL in UZR and has long been regarded as a premier defensive shortstop. errors are a terrible way to judge a guy's future defensive value, especially if the guy is in his teens as the errors are probably mostly due to a lack of experience and focus. if castro is still making 30+ errors 2 years from now i'll be concerned, but right now i'm more interested in his range, arm and ability to read the ball off the bat. Playing top shelf major league defense at shortstop is one of the most difficult things to do in baseball. It takes some time to figure out how to do that.
