  1. Hroniss Grasu. Romanian for "Olin Kreutz".
  2. Even more ridiculous is that the 7th pick belongs to the Red Sox (we pick 9th).
  3. The Texans have needs at wide receiver (Andre Johnson gone), at pass rusher (what will Jadeveon Clowney provide in 2015?), and at cornerback (replacement for likely 2016 cap casualty Jonathan Joseph), but there is questionable value remaining on the board at all of those positions. Instead, they look to fill the yawning chasm on their roster that is inside linebacker. With the 51st overall selection, the Houston Texans select ILB Eric Kendricks, UCLA.
  4. After picking up a #1 receiver (DeVante Parker) for Tannehill in the first, the Dolphins look to add some protection for him. With the 47th overall selection, the Miami Dolphins select OG Laken Tomlinson, Duke.
  5. Extended spring training.
  6. He's not, unless that just happened.
  7. Germen or Schlitter, I'd hope. One of those two might be in trouble when La Stella is ready to come off the DL too. With Russell on the team now, there's really no need for Herrera as a backup shortstop. He can go to make room for LaStella.
  8. Wasn't that the name of the man J. Peterman's mother took as a lover during their time living in Costa Rica?
  9. A 40-man roster spot is going to have to be opened up for Russell.
  10. Four run lead with two outs in the ninth. Pound the strike zone.
  11. Texans was my pick, but we can let this stand. Oops, sorry about that. Raw sent the PM before you made the pick for the Dolphins and it never occurred to me to check. At least it was the same guy you would have taken (or an acceptable replacement at least). Well, I think there's virtually no chance the Texans take a RB in the first round, but it's a mock draft. No reason to break up the rhythm.
  12. Texans was my pick, but we can let this stand. Ah, so that's where I screwed up. LOL. Sorry. I knew I had a pick coming up and choose the wrong team. If you want to change the pick that's cool. I'd still stick wtih Gordon for SD. No, we're good.
  13. Texans was my pick, but we can let this stand.
  14. There was a little bit of conflict in the Dolphins' war room. Everyone agreed that wide receiver was the #1 need and that there was appropriate WR value available at this spot. But there was a rather vocal minority that was quite adamant that the pick should be fast riser Breshad Perriman of UCF. However, ultimately, the majority (well, that and the final decision maker) ruled. With the 14th overall selection, the Miami Dolphins select WR DeVante Parker, Louisville.
  15. Ive made this comparison before and mid 90s Sammy with tons of Ks, lower averages, and HR totals would be insanely available in the MIF, especially in this run enviroment. If Baez ever gets his strikeout rate down to the worst that Sosa ever posted, he'll be an absolute superstar.
  16. To the Pirates for a package centered around Austin Meadows?
  17. A much bigger problem is that he's apparently afraid of throwing to the bases after fielding a batted ball. Does he not throw to second base after fielding a comebacker with a runner on first and fewer than two outs?
  18. Where did you see that?
  19. The former. Trade him and then sign the free agent.
  20. When was the last time someone traded away a young #1 starter? Truly asking. Trying to remember. David Price?
