  1. Nice catch.
  2. Thats terrible. I'm now cheering for the Steelers. I was indifferent.
  3. Colts look ready to go now.
  4. WHAT?
  5. Why waste a challenge on something that won't be overturned? Use the Timeout for an additional forty seconds.[/q] You have to, on the chance that these incompetent refs get it wrong. If the INT stands the game is over.
  6. Manning sucks in the playoffs.
  7. It matters in the sense that if the call is made against the Steelers, the Colts get the ball with over 10:00. Right, but I was talking about the contact that the Colts made and why that wasn't reviewable. The refs may or may not have missed the call on the false start (thats a judgement call), but they clearly missed the call of contact made by the colts (not a judgement call, in my mind). So in the sense of why that contact wasn't reviewable, it didn't matter.
  8. This is the one injury that really scares me. I don't have much faith in McKie as the lead blocker, and with the run heavy offense I'm sure the Bears are gonna run today, that makes for trouble. I hope I'm wrong. I agree. That is a much bigger loss than Metcalf for Garza. Hopefully the O-Line can push the front 4 back.
  9. I don't understand why you can't challenge that contact was made by the defense there, it isn't a judgement call like pass interference, there either was contact or wasn't. You can challenge a play if you think there were 12 men on the field and the refs didn't throw a flag. Didn't really matter since the Steelers got the 1st.
  10. Can you challenge that contact was made?
  11. Um, what?
  12. Punt the ball Cowher, or Big Ben, whoever makes the calls on that team.
  13. 1 hour to go.
  14. Manning > Dungy
  15. Under 2 hours to kickoff, lets get this thread off page 2. BEAR DOWN!
  16. Colts got flat out dominated in the 1st half, but only trail 14-3.
  17. Thats good news for Carolina. I still think DeShaun Foster's turf toe will be a factor in the game. He isn't 100%. He is also more of a speed back, than the bruising type of back that has hurt the Bears at times this year. I think the combination of his style, and his injury could make it a long day for Foster.
  18. I thought Jackson was better than that, but his numbers aren't great. Maybe with the new ownership group, the Rays won't be as difficult to deal with. Tampa officially has no bullpen right now. Maybe we could get the to go for quantity. Walker, Guzman, Welly, Novoa, Aardsma for Lugo + Huff.
  19. Shaun Alexander had 9 yards rushing on 6 carries. Seattle fumbles 6 times. Matt Hasselbeck had a decent stat line, but showed that he has no idea when to thrown the ball away if he is under pressure. Mark Brunell threw for 242 yards against the Seahaws secondary. Washington missed a chip-shot FG, and dropped an easy Pick 6. Seattle averaged negative yardage on 4 punt returns. There is plenty of hope next week for whoever wins the Bears game. Seattle looked unimpressive in the win, in my mind. Now, let's get it done Bears.
  20. Mark Brunell throws like a girl. Over/Under on when Jason Campbell sees action for Washington next year: Week 2.
  21. This one is over. Maybe I'm missing something, but watching this game makes me more confident about the Bears ability to go to Seattle and win. I know they didn't have Alexander, but they still ran the ball pretty well. Matt Hasselbeck makes some stupid decisions, doesn't he. I think if it were the Bears "D" out there instead of Washington he would have thrown 2 or 3 picks already. I hope we get a chance to find out.
  22. The kicker recorvered that one.
  23. The Bears are handing them out tomorrow :( Orange?
  24. Not looking good for the Redskins. Hopefully Seattle will be banged up at the very least. *I'm really not overlooking Carolina, that will be a really tough game. I wish the Bears game was on now, so I could (hopefully) watch this Washington-Seattle game and know if I have a rooting interest in it. I need to cheer for the Redskins and injuries, just in case.
  25. 24 Hours to Kickoff! Go Redskins, I think the Bears and Panthers fans in this thread can agree on that at least. DITKA!
