  1. I wasn't a fan of the idea to move Kerry to the bullpen this season. I probably would have shut him down and given him the surgery (or scope, or whatever you want to call it) weeks ago. That said, he hasn't looked this dominating in a long time. Yes it's a small sample size (8 innings). With the Cubs having about 35 million in salary this offseason, I would seriously consider replacing Wood in the rotation with Burnett or Milwood. Having Dempster, Wood, and Williamson in the bullpen can make it a 7-inning game if the Cubs can get an early lead. Prior, Zambrano, Burnett/Milwood, Maddux, Williams/Hill/Brownlie/Pinto With Wood, Depmster, Williamson, Ohman, Novoa/Wuertz, and a loogy in the pen.
  2. Just saw that on ESPN News. The anchor said basically the same thing, that this should end Burnett-Lowell to Baltimore talk. Maybe a 3rd team would want Lowell (Twins).
  3. I don't think 5 votes would help much anyway.
  4. I thought they said during the game last night that there was a free preview on NBA.TV from today through the 6th of May. Did I hear that wrong? I guess you would still need Direct TV or digital cable to get the free preview.
  5. Bulls win again...Win the last 2 games and they have the 4 seed locked up!
  6. But they are .5 away from the 4 with the win!
  7. Bulls are falling apart Arizona style...Still up 4 with 27 seconds to go
  8. Bruised right knee for Curry...Bulls should be ok without him tonight but hopefully he won't miss any more time. Hinrich should be back soon too. Honestly I don't care where the Bulls sit in the Playoff picture as long as it's 4,5, or 6. I think at any of those seeds they will have a great opportunity to win a series. However, Detroit does look far more beatablle than Miami in the second round...but I am getting WAY ahead of myself. Bulls lead 90-80 3:45 to go. edit: you keep beating me to the news Jon. Darn slow typing
  9. The Pacers are such thugs. 5 Tech's tonight...5 guys facing criminal charges. Bulls lead by 9, but Curry has the ice bags on his knee, hopefully there is no physical problem there.
