Probably not the appropriate place to put it but allow me my mini rant. I bought my girlfriend a new G3 iPod nano for Christmas, I mean Hannukah. She has a mac book that she got about 3 years ago. And guess what happens when she plug it in. It says her OS is too old and she needs to upgrade. WTF. Its not like her computer is archaic or anything. I know I know, its a smart business model to keep making people upgrade (as they have done with the iPods themselves), but it really pisses people off. On a somewhat unrelated note, my iPhone doesn't show up on any other computer than the one I registered it with when I try to download stuff on itunes. For example, I have 2 computers, my old one had all my itunes stuff on it. I registered it with my new one and now I can't upload any of my music from my old computer. GAH!!!! Also, the ipot feature of the itunes craps out fairly often. It just stops playing. Safari does the same thing, but fairly infrequently.Also, the ipod replays the same song it just played after the song ends. Other than the ipod part, I love it, but the ipod part leaves a TON to be desired. [/apple rant]

Personally, I think he still has to prove that he IS a #2. What more does he have to do? He was probably the best pitcher on the Cubs last year. For starters, he has to win more than 11 games. Granted he had poor run support last season, but a #2 starter needs to do better than 11 wins regardless of run support. I like Rich Hill, but I agree that he still has more to prove to be a solid #2 starter. Had a better career than most first overall picks. Hes getting paid $1M after 7 bad seasons. I'd say he's had a better career than pretty much everyone in the world.

I'd say his former top prospect tag probably equates to more perceived value. Now whether thats true of actual value or not is debateable. He and Gallagher had nearly identical seasons. Except Sean is 3 years younger.

Unfortunately for you and soccer, it was a good decision. Even if you don't convert, you're forcing MSU to go at least 55 yards or so to get in field goal range with only around 45 seconds left. If you do get it, all you have to do is take a couple of knees and you get the W. It was only a good decision in hindsight. It was an easy kick. You make it, kick it off and then make them get into the endzone to win. If you don't make the kick, they get the ball back at around their 30 yard line. I would've went for it no matter what. And if you don't make the 1st down marker they start 7 yards further away but have to travel 30 yards less.
