At .339/.406/.516 vs lefties, Murton would be perfect if the Cobs keep him. However, I'm afraid that the Cobs are done with him, and that they're fine with Jones playing full time.
Yeah, the Cobs really are depressing. It's too bad they can't rebound from a poor month and get a streak going. Other teams do that, don't they? Hmm, I can't think of a team that's done anything like that, but surely some could, right?
This is what I'm talking about, it's a contradiction. I believe he's saying that Jim has problems working with dusty. In other words, that the poor makeup of the team is Dusty's fault rather than Jim's.
I would guess Prior. Part of that is based on my perceptions of his personality, but I'm also thinking of the rumors about his reputation within the organization. I can definitely see Dusty hassling Prior if Dusty sees him as soft.
Kielty has great splits vs lefties. Getting him to platoon with Jones would be a smart move, but Hendry and co. don't seem to think they have a problem in right field.
