That's true. As you know, I work in the Northwest suburbs, at the Daily Herald. I live out here too. There are a lot of Sox fans. As far as CSN goes, knowing the people there, I don't see any intentional bias. It's funny, because for years, the Sox and Sox fans have been the ones who complained about bias. Bill Veeck measured column inches with a ruler one time. Eddie Einhorn commented about it earlier in his ownership group's tenure. At WhiteSoxInteractive.com, there used to be a poster (pre-2005) who actually counted the number of articles in the Trib and Sun Times (not the Herald, sorry Bruce) about both the Cubs and Sox throughout the year. The Cubs actually had decidedly more articles printed than the Sox in both papers, so who knows. Edit: BTW, nice interview during the rain delay on Sunday Bruce. Thanks. Actually, it was the pregame show. We did have a delay, but they called it an "atmospheric conditions delay." First time I've heard that one. They expected rain, but it never came. And I made it out before the tropical storm hit.

Groovy. Bruce, any idea if the Cubs are looking at bringing Edmonds back next season? Everyone always give them crap for holding on to a one year guy to long, see Gary Gaetti. Now we are suggesting to this very thing. I wasn't suggesting it. I am beginning to wonder where the front office is leaning, though. Gotcha. I wouldn't bring him back. They haven't talked seriously about it yet.
Could be Marquis; could be Marshall, could be...Samardzija: http://blogs.dailyherald.com/node/374 So will they push everyone back a day, or skip Marquis and start everyone else on regular rest? Lilly tomorrow. Zambrano, Dempster and one of the three mentioned above Sunday.
The new regime is much better than the old one. The trainer is actually licensed these days, and players actually come off the DL and play again. It's just old scars from the Dusty days. Riot is probably fine. If he wasn't I'm sure he wouldn't have stayed in. He was walking around the clubhouse just fine after the game. I don't think it's any big deal.
He hurt his hand/wrist for Iowa a few days back and hasn't played since. Must not be too bad, since he isn't on the 7-day DL. Cubs tell me it's not serious and that they're happy with how he's played lately.
Even Bruce joins the party!! Does it get any better than this??? Great to see you Bruce! I suppose Z could check in from the mound every now and then Reed! I'll ask him, but you don't want him to get those "Internet" forearm cramps again.
Yeah, everybody wants to focus on the minimum requirement. The Cubs, as I wrote, have exactly three of those starts this year, with the rest being much better.
