    My wife, who endures the Cubs atrocities with me, says "Dee de dee" everytime she sees him. While that may not be very funny, for a woman who is not at all funny, its hilarious.

    He was horrible during ST, and during his one or two appearances he had in April before being sent down, he looked like he hadn't gotten back on track yet. I don't blame them for sending him down, he obviously had something he needed to straighten out at the beginning of the year...but he fixed it within a few weeks in AAA and dominated out of the pen (dominated like Rich Hill was doing down there) from there on. But for some reason, they never wanted to bring him up, they left him down there FAAAAAAAR longer than was necessary. Oh, due to the timing of this thread, I thought something had happened. This is a topic of discussion for, say, I don't know, 2 months ago. I brought it up after seeing he had another outing with more Ks than innings pitched...there's nothing wrong with bringing it back up now, especially considering all of the pitchers we have had, and continue to put on, the DL. I don't disagree, but you can see where I was thrown there for a minute, that's all.

    Clarinets > trombones. Them's fightin' woids! Oh, and my HS performed two straight years at Dodger playoff games and at the 1996 Alamo Bowl and none of those 3 times were we on TV. Stupid ESPN. :( Well, I saw you, for whatever its worth. And a fine job it was!

    Chris: I might be able to be talked into going now that Nefie is gone. I'm just 4 hours from Atl and I have friends there too. Paul I have some family of mine from Charleston meeting us there.     Funny you should ask..... I'm sitting at a loading dock right now in Alsip, IL waiting to get loaded for beautiful Waxahachie, TX !! Uhh, I wouldn't advise drinking before a long trip to Texas... I'm from texas, and can tell you, that is the ONLY way to make a trip across it.

    Hey- Just wondering if anyone was attending any or all games of this series? (9/8-9/10) I will be there Friday and Saturday night, but regrettably will miss the Sunday day game. I have three field tix, sec. 121 (1st base side) if anyone is interested. Might even give dscounts to NSBB guys.     Partially correct. Pronk has what....6 grand slams this yr, and Beltran has I believe 3 grannies this yr. So, Pronk is the KING of the Grand Slams, and Beltran is more of the PRINCE of the grand slams... :D Umm, Sexson has 4, so that demotes Beltran

    Thats not possible to know given we aren't 100% sure who's starting tomorrow or whether Prior is going to make his next start. I realize we can't be 100%, I was just curious as to the projections considering I will be there. I am going to be there anyway, I was just curious if Fred had a spreadsheet on that as well.
