    The 1-3, 6.44 ERA on the road scares me a bit. How many do we give up tonight? On a related note, how many don't we score? We lose: 14- (-3) If its possible to be that futile, the Cubs will figure out how to do it.

    Walker, Bynum, and Pierre are the only Cubs position players on the team who have hit into double plays at a below average rate this year. Move Pierre down the lineup and that would change in a hurry. Not necessarily because I was citing a rate stat rather than a counting stat. But Pierre did hit into more DP's at a greater rate than league average last year. Once the weather gets warmer, he'll start showing the Cubs his true GIDP skills. But warmer weather shouldn't affect him because...ahhh, nevermind
