  1. He sang two songs at the Len & Bob Bash. They showed replays during the delay and you can see them here if you like. Thank you.
  2. Geez DLee has absolutely owned Sheets.
  3. Wait! they came back from 4 down last night, now we can...oh nevermind. Have a good night guys.
  4. Suppan is "scattering" 8 hits so far...ever notice that a pitcher scattering hits is generally the offense's fault?
  5. While I agree at the time his comments were less than appropriate, as has been posted he has backed off in recent memory. He was probably more ticked at the Cubs management then he was at the Cubs also--as we all are; so does that make all of us douches as well? And people are just as split about Sammy as Grace, and I don't think Grace's Sosa comments had anything to do with him "being more popular" -- he never had a problem with it with Ryno. It was probably stuff that none of us were privy to--locker room things that went on long before the Cubs "outed" Sammy. Anyway just my 2 cents about that. So...Pie wearing #20 huh?...
  6. If someone can/wants to it is also on XM 185 tonight. (adjust the title that is)
  7. You'll be very happy with those seats. A little past 3B, heres seat data, although it doesnt do justice. http://www.seatdata.com/html/mlb_cubs/section_mlb_cubs_409.htm For the love of God, don't take the blue line to the redline. That will take you over an hour longer than getting off the Blue line at Addison and taking a bus. Yeah after not even being able to find it until I pulled the map way down, I figured it wasn't a good idea. An after seeing yours and Jon's pics (thanks for that btw) I am already happy with my choice.
  8. 409, row 1. Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it.
  9. This is true. When I lived in Chicago, I used to go to about 25 games a year, and I always sat in different sections. I really like the 400-level seats. They're almost always better than 200-level seats. So which is better then IF UD box or OF UD box? there are a couple with row one seating on stubhub, and I am getting four. (wives are coming too) Once again, thanks for help, I'll make my purchase after this answer and leave y'all alone...for now. Chris
  10. I've never sat in the 400's before so I was a bit leary of that. But they are good seats? Works for me. Thanks for your help everyone. I finally see the blue line/red line thing and it looks like you have to transfer downtown, which seems quite out of the way. We'll figure it out though...
  11. Just looking at the Trans. map. Blue line to Addison bus? Or how far is it to walk from blue line to the stadium? Looking for June 3rd vs. Atl. Open as to seat location. My cousin is a Braves fan and we went to Turner last year and he gets to go to Wrigley this year. Want good seats, but they don't have to be great. Thanks for your help guys Bus? Should be a way to take the blue line, xfer to the red line, and get off right at the stadium. You'll walk for 2 minutes after getting off the train, and have a great look at Wrigley while heading in... Must have looked at it wrong, I guess i can figure that out while there though. *edit* this is what Cubs.com has for directions: O'Hare Airport Driving: Take 90 East to the Addison Street exit. Turn left (east) on Addison and proceed three miles to Wrigley Field. CTA: Take the "Blue" rapid transit line to the Addison Street stop. Transfer to the CTA No. 152 eastbound bus, which lets off at the ballpark. *edit* Can you buy bleacher tix the day of the game or do I have to get those ahead of time? I didn't know with them being GA.
  12. Mark who? Seriously, it sounds good, but until something happens--good, bad, otherwise--I just can no longer get my hopes up. I want to, I just physically can't. Here's hoping he reads that letter/this website/something to get him back to the Prior we all know.
  13. Gates open 2 hours before the game. Depends on where you want to sit in the bleachers; but for a Sunday game in June, if you got there a little after the gates open you will get great seats. Really starts to fill up about an hour before the game. Good to know, I may just go that route. Do I need to buy before hand or can I buy there pre game then?
  14. Also--If I get bleacher seats, when do those gates open/when should I line up? Never sat there and I am thinking about it.

  16. Okay, other than StubHub, are there any other brokers that anyone has had a good experience with? I know I am going to get gouged terribly no matter what, just wondered if anyone had any insight. Also, by any chance does anyone know approx. how much cabfare from O'Hare to Wrigley is? Thanks guys!
  17. Well, then, here's hoping you all are right and my fears are off base. Go Cubs
  18. Anyone else think Lilly is more likely to get rocked pitching right behind Hill? It can't be good for us for the Reds to see two similar, LH pitchers back to back can it? Not optimistic for this game, but hoping to eat some crow.
  19. Good thing we have Angel Pagan who supposedly beat Reyes in a race one time  Well then I am faster than Preist Holmes, because I caught him from behind in football in HS once... :? I really did, but only cuz he was tired from running for 328 yards against us that game...and I had an angle.
  20. Well she has my big ears and my chubby cheeks, so I am only holding her back. Who knows? We even live in Arkansas, where The MAN is from. ? The MAN (in Black). Johnny Cash brother
