  1. The good news is that Lester could end up as our fifth best pitcher and we'd probably be fine.
  2. Two questions: How many guys do you all recognize in this lineup? Would the Marlins win a championship in the Pacific Coast League?
  3. I don't think five or six years buys out any free agency. Seems crazy for him not to take this deal since he doesn't lose any free agency years and it doesn't seem too far off from what he'd earn throughout the arbitration years if he ends up really good. Although there are probably team options at the end, and that would change things a bit.
  4. Is anyone arguing that it is a clever title? Or a good joke? I think you are missing the point! Which is the point!
  5. I think this thread has the makings of becoming a classic. Lets keep this going.
  6. Can you do me a huge favor and post the full horsefeathering name of horsefeathering 17 year olds that nobody's horsefeathering heard of? You know a lot about draft prospects and you post a lot of cool horsefeathers about them and I'd like to benefit from your knowledge rather than wanting to choke you out. Woah, killer. If you really cared about benefitting from the knowledge, you'd have probably clicked the link. And found out what the M stands for. Or you could probably type the last name followed by "mlb draft prospect" and have a pretty decent chance is figuring it out all by yourself.
  7. Sucks. I really liked Goff. And Speigel.
  8. Thank goodness Pace got rid of that bum.
  9. Careful there with the hashtag! Your man already showed that he is #MAGA
  10. Please happen, and soon.
  11. I really enjoyed the Up and In podcast for a while, although I barely remember why. I think it was partially because I was going to school in Dekalb at the time, so I liked to imagine myself and Kevin Goldstein shopping at the same store.
  12. Heck yes. When I discovered this recipe I made pizza almost every day for a week and a half.
  13. Just shut up. And leave if you hate it here so much.
  14. When I was in eighth grade we moved and I was really bummed that the ceiling fan in my bedroom had to stay. I didn't understand why you weren't supposed to take your fixtures with you. That fan was the horsefeathers. It spun so fast and rocked back and forth like a mofo.
  15. The number of times tonight that I've seen more balls in the k zone than strikes in the count is driving me crazy. Kyle is not getting any calls on the edges and that's not good.
  16. I know, I'm just angry. I want the Cubs to pick up a journeyman that somehow becomes one is the best hitters in baseball. Good Carl! Yay!
  17. What's the deal with Nats fans? Are these people that had another team and switched? We're they old Senators fans that were waiting for another DC team? Old expos fans? Did they have no team for most of their life and then picked up baseball a decade ago as adults? Are they so young that the Nats were impressed upon them as a youth? For me my fanhoods was established very early on and were based on bonds with family members and it's very hard for me to understand just picking a team and getting to "diehard" status.
  18. I need to go to sleep but I don't think I'll be able to. Drunk Jon is great.
  19. Build a super bullpen for next year, Theo.
  20. With the MOTB, Trump will finally gain some knowledge of the Bible. I mean there's no way he's read a single word, right? Were those civil war soldiers? Wtf?
  21. Those AL/NL families in those commercials drive me crazy. Who fans that way? It's ridiculous.
