    Still don't get why nobody wanted Davies. I mean he sucks but Cubs could have given him away for free. Somebody had to pitch in the second half. It was an either/or situation between Davies and Williams. That's my guess, anyway. If you don't care about winning (or if losing is preferred even!) it can't be very hard to find a street free agent who has a major league dream and is willing to take some lumps and a minimum salary to fulfill it.

    The statement was so vague that it could probably be released every single day of the season and it would still apply to some situation. And a grown man going crazy for a mascot like that surely deserves being shamed for something right?

    He wasn't confessing - he was looking for validation! If he framed it as an embarrassing moment of anger that led him to make a bad decision, and he knew he was in the wrong, he wouldn't have been ridiculed nearly so much.

    Do you think it would have been ok if he called him a thug, even if he was joking? This seems like maybe a quarter step away from that. And he's not getting fired. He is hopefully just going to learn about how what he said is offensive and then maybe he'll be more thoughtful in the future? And if he does get fired, so what. Maybe a poc or a woman will get the chance at a job that they historical were never allowed to have?

    I'm not a jeopardy superfan or anything, but I've checked out Rodgers a few times and have been surprised at how natural and comfortable he seems. I guess if you are a biased bears fan you might hate it.

    Fox Sports became Bally. They are owned by Sinclair I think, which is also involved in Marquee. I don't think fubo is an indicator of others streamers picking up regional sports since they specifically brand themselves as a sports fans option. Most streamers seem to have made the decision that their audience wants lower cost and regional sports channels are too expensive and niche to fit that model.

    For some reason I have it in my head that he has some sort of IBS issue, and that is why he needs the inning off, but I could be making that up.

    I don't really have a coaches ambitious temperament, but I would take so much less money to live in Chicago instead of Oklahoma.

    By the looks of him I feel like he has extensive knowledge of what they taste like, so this is a risky claim to make. There is definitely a non-zero chance that he ate some or all of a preserved specimen

    I very rarely watch basketball, especially college basketball, and I have absolutely no ability to judge talent but the best player in college basketball sure looks like a big slow dope.
