Improvement over missing guys badly after they've already run 8 yards. True. You have to really strain to see anything encouraging in this particular game.

[expletive] i guess I'm profiling. I thought I remember Geno being a running QB in college, and I thought I remember seeing Manuel keeping plays alive with his feet last year They are mobile but not really runners. Rodgers is more mobile imo. Luck too

4 of the first 5 QBs we play are EJ Manuel, Colin Kaepernick, Geno Smith, and Cam Newton. The other QB is Aaron Rodgers Not that players like Manuel or Smith are anywhere near Russell Wilson in talent but they are QBs that can make things happen with their feet. for sure, they also dont have the skill around them like wilson does EJ Manuel sucks

how so? Unless they are fumbling left and right and or fair catching it on the 10th the return game will be at worst a non-factor. I don't really care about the return game and am glad we are past the point of counting on it as part of the offense. Right...turnovers are really the only way it can be an enormous problem. This offense is good enough to be able to overcome the difference in field position. Turnovers are what I am concerned about. Maybe unfounded at this point...we will see

If he somehow manages to hit .280 over 75 PA's you might be able to fool someone like Amaro into sending a high ceiling Single A-level arm our way during the offseason.

Shea may be in danger of getting cut, IMO. We could be looking to replace him with a vet LB who also gets waived, or perhaps Phil parts with a 3rd rounder next year.

Simmons is fine in print, where I can effectively ignore some of his pompous grandstanding and "look how cute I am" commentary. He's insufferable on t.v. This most recent NBA Draft is a great example. Bilas looked like he wanted to rip his head off. Someone should do a gif of that happening.

Raw, I am all for seeing the glass as half-full, but do you really believe Jennings is a top 5 corner? And from what I have read Adrian is a long shot to make the roster based on his play.
