  1. GREAT PICK BY OKC!!!
  2. His downside is very scary. There's a reason the Griz suck.
  3. New worst offensive player in the NBA. He makes Aaron Gray look like Bill Walton.
  4. who exactly are you benching to get Mr. Dunn into the lineup? Soriano to 2B. Dunn to LF. Done. (pun intended) I dont usually complain about defense - but that would be hilariously bad. Maybe, but with the way we are hitting I think going defense first is putting the cart before the horse.

  6. I've seen one where the Bulls take Colleson with their second pick - rejoice, Raisin!!!
  7. We need Adam Dunn immeadietly if not sooner.
  8. Tracy McGrady is available. I'd send Deng and salary filler plus a pick for him.
  9. Other than the fact that it's fun to pick on White Sox personel, I don't get the Reinsdorf hate. His teams have won lots of games and multiple championships. He spends money and doesn't screw people over. Exactly - I don't get why people hate on him. He spends reasonable amounts of money in spite of the notoriously fical Sox fanbase and clearly allows his marketing department a pretty nice budget. He's loyal to Ken Williams and Guillien in spite of themselves. The Sox have been over .500 every year this decade excepting 2007, have won more than 90 games three times and won a WS. On the Bulls side of things, Reinsdorf showed loyalty to Jerry Krause even though he didn't necessarily deserve it, he paid Michael Jordan $35 million a year for each his last two years with the team, he authorized the recent spending on Hinrich, Wallace, Noc, etc. Could he have done more to keep the 98' Bulls together - maybe (Jackson - much as I love him - seemed hell-bent on leaving, as did Pippen). But that ignores all that was done under Reinsdorf's watch to put together basketball's greatest dynasty and greatest teams.
  10. Davis is awful. Flat-out awful.
  11. Why is Jerry Reinsdorf "an awful person".
  12. I am still very concerned about the D-Line. Mark Anderson and Wally O were awful last season. Harris was inconsistent. Brown was pretty good, but as he ages how much longer can you count on him? Dvoracheck is coming off yet another injury.
  13. Too bad the refs from the 05 NCAA championship game didn't know he was a scrub. Oh pls. Like you have never, ever seen guys that were great in college but fell flat in the pros. May is just a modern-day Stacey King. That's pretty insulting to Stacey King. hey I like Stacey, but the only thing of note he ever did in his pro career was being part of the team of subs who caught up to the Blazers in Game 6 of the 92' Finals.

  15. Theriot SS Fukudome CF Lee 1B Bradley RF Soriano 2B Fox LF Fotenot 3B Soto C Then you hang in there for a couple of more weeks till Aramis is back, at which point: Theriot SS Fukudome CF Lee 1B Ramirez 3B Bradley RF Soriano 2B Fox LF Soto C
  16. That's sort of a funny post. It states that Angelo (or someone else) called Rosenhaus. It doesn't necessarily read that the topic of conversation was Burress. Maybe all they did was discuss how inexplicably smoking hot Megan Fox is.
  17. I have nothing of substance to add, other than to say that is an outstanding name. I really hope he makes the bigs.
  18. The Chicago Cubs signed RHP Yao-Lin Wang yesterday to a bonus of approximately $260,000: He's the hardest throwing prep in Taiwan, clocking in in the low 90s. I'd recommend clicking on the link if you want to see a picture of him with heart face paint. http://p9.p.pixnet.net/albums/userpics/9/5/1888195/4a27ac32e731a.jpg Also: Good to see us being so proactive in Asia. Looks like the talent there may be as good (on the top-end if not the depth) and the signing bonuses are smaller.

  21. I read a rumor that some team (I don't remember) was turned off by Cleveland's asking price for DeRosa. Oakland (I saw it on MLB TradeRumors.com)
  22. There's more than one in the music industry, and that's one too many.
  23. No you don't, b/c while you may know something about Perry, you appear to know nothing about Joshua. again the whole neo-dustianism was not a jab at Joshua, mostly an attempt at humor which was clearly lost on you. Perry did symbolize a shift in organizational philosophy. I said: The best he (Joshua) can do is more of the same (emphasizing patience and OBP) lighten up I'll grant you the benefit of the doubt here.... Wait, no I won't. Go look up the Sox teams that he coached in the late 90's and early 00's. He taught guys like Mags Ordonez, Carlos Lee and Paul Korneko how to hit and how to take a walk. Your argument that Joshua can do no better than Perry doesn't hold water.
