  1. I dont have a picture, but last night on Comcast, Big Z looked really, really good. Lean mean fighting machine :D Standing next to Gayle Sayers(?)(lady from Comcast) made me realize how big that son of a gun really is hehe.
  2. Souvenir. It'll get shredded by fans, I bet. Plus, I know I'll be peeing in it on my way home from Murphy's on random nights. I would be careful where you whip it out. http://www.smr-home-theatre.org/dvd/images/Little_Shop_Of_Horrors.jpg I walked home from Murphy's a couple of months ago and was going down Waveland at about 1:30 AM when I noticed a man waddling toward me. It was dark, so all I could see was his silhouette at first, but he was definitely moving strangely. I figured he was just drunk. When I got closer, I noted that not only was he drunk, but he was walking so strangely because he was peeing on the Waveland Ave. sidewalk as he walked and was trying, fairly unsuccessfully, not to step in it as he went. I stood off to the side and let him pass. I don't think he ever noticed me. Also, the more that I think about it, I probably saw him do this for at least half a minute. At no point during this time did the stream of urine falter. Lmao
  3. Bottom line: You don't go into the stands. I'm not saying I wouldn't jump into the stands to defend my family mind you, but if you know the rule, and break the rule, don't expect anything but the punishment that comes with the breaking of said rule IMO.
  4. Didn't Eckstein perform above and beyond his "norms" last year?
  5. And there is the #1 question to be asked :lol:
  6. Wow, I didn't know Craig Wilson could catch. How big is that you say? What happens on the days Henry Blanco starts? Barrett sits on the bench and goes unused. Or occasionally, instead of getting the full day off behind the plate, Dusty puts him in for the late innings to get his bat in the game. Which is fine, except it defeats the purpose of resting your primary catcher. If you have Wilson though, who can be your 3rd catcher, now things change. On days Blanco starts, you can give Barrett the time off from the tools of ignorance. BUT, you can use him confidently as a pinch-hitter off the bench. Put that bat to use. The Cub bench instantly gets better. I'm really liking the sound of this Walker for Wilson thing now. Do it. You dont want Wilson back there unless it is an emergency. Yes he was drafted as a catcher, by Toronto, and the Pirates almost got him killed trying to make him one. He has a horrible "POP" time and is poor defensively. On the bright side he is an idiot in the truest sense of the word and will run through a brick wall because that is how you play, as long as someone will pat him on the back afterwards. :roll: You grow up next to him or something?
  7. If I had to guess, I'd say it has a lot to do with the whole "he's just a little hurt, he's injured, there might be an elbow, no he's fine, he should be back soon, it might be another couple months, we don't know what's wrong." The way the Cubs handled it, it could be perceived by some that they were questioning Prior's toughness and wanted him to just fight through it. Agree 100% with that Goony, I got that feeling last year as well.
  8. Lmfao....took me a sec but I got it :lol:
  9. Gimme an "N"....."N!!!" Gimme a "T"...."T!!!!!" Gimme a "C"....."C!!!!" Whats that spell?...... :lol:
  10. Then you guys would score NO points :wink:
  11. Tell us how you really feel about Favre.... :roll: Give me a break, he's getting older yes, but he is still a very good QB. Kinda hard to have a decent year when you have noone to play with. You don't think his consecutive start streak is impressive?
  12. ^^^ Co-sign. For the against, I would specifically mention the Japanese Leagues and the players that have played here. What the hell does that mean? I understand how the Japanese Leagues show that the World Series isn't really the World's Series. But then you mention Japanese players playing in the MLB. Your comment basically is for and against. I really hope you are five years old, cause your point is just plain stupid. Anyways, good luck on your paper!!! Was that really needed?
  13. Hell freezes over? Sorry that was trollish but I couldn't help myself. :wink: [-X [-X Lol...terrible....and I was just beginnin' to like ya...
  14. =D> =D> =D>
  15. Instant nominee for greatest sig ever. Seconded.....awesome :lol:
  16. Of course you'd have way more reason to be sad about Wrigley. Busch isn't exactly the baseball mecca that Wrigley is. Busch isn't as old, but probably holds more memories than Wrigley does. Do you just look to start arguments, or do you actually believe the stuff you type....
  17. Great post jiml60
  18. Agreed. I wish Dusty could get even a little fired up and take it to the team sometimes. Edited to also agree w/Indiff's last post :wink:
