  1. So then if the Rangers win tonight and tomorrow it puts them at 7-12, which is higher than .337. And then it would be... say it with me... Only the Cubs
  2. I remember another NLCS where in game 2 a pitcher was left in for way too long with a big lead. That turned out well didn't it? Wow, man. Way to open up old wounds. BTW this past week was the 7th anniversary of "that" game.
  3. Why the hell are you leaving Oswalt in with a 5-run lead? Keep him fresh.
  4. Yeah, this one's over.
  5. How'd they get the first 14? I tuned in to see them get the 3rd TD.
  6. You idiot. Pay more attention on the bases in a one-run game.
  7. Is it wrong that I kind of want Kerry to do bad here?
  8. Go to hell, Yankees. Seriously.
  9. Wow the Rangers completely Cubbed it.
  10. Rangers look like they want to self-destruct here.
  11. I thought I saw a series of photographs from about 100 years ago that proved, in fact, that curve balls actually do curve.
  12. I don't want Ryne anywhere near this team, even if it's only as bench coach. I have terrible visions of us bunting in the 1st inning with our #3 hitter. Baylor used to do that, but it was with the #2 guy.
  13. What do you see as most likely, Bruce?
  14. Rangers just swept the Yankees a couple of weeks ago. Before the playoffs started I thought the Yankees were a better matchup for the Rangers than the Rays. Congrats to Nolan Ryan. Knowing he will need to lean on him for the rest of the playoffs was it necessary for Washington to let Lee go out for the ninth with a 4 run lead and wind up with 120 pitches? I still want to know why he was warming up in the bullpen in game 3. Because Ron Washington graduated from the Dusty Baker School of Managing, dude.
  15. That's appointment TV right there.
  16. I wanted to go to one of the Brewers NLDS games in 2008 but there was no way I could have gotten off of work or afforded the tickets.
  17. haha, i knew someone was gonna GIF that eventually.
  18. It's been far too long since he racky-tacked anybody.
  19. The injuries certainly have sapped us of a lot of good talent, but even still, there was no excuse at all to lose that game today. None. I hate this team.
  20. That'll change tonight after the Yankees clinch.
  21. Doctors think they caught it early enough. It's in his salivary glands, which he blames on years of chewing tobacco during his playing days. Best of luck to him. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=5665646
  22. 102 high and tight? Utley's going to need a new pair of underwear, I think.
  23. I think they need to come up with a new formula. So all no-hitters are automatically better than games where a pitcher gave up a hit? Not all, no. But Halladay's no-hitter IMO was better than Lincecum's 1-hitter.
  24. Nor is my pick of the Twins in 5.
