Please tell me its not forever Depends on who wins on Sunday. I'm surprised it didn't get extended again for no reason just out of spite for the Packers winning. Yes, NSBB, I have returned. It was an amazing, wonderful, nail-biting game that I still haven't come down from. The 3rd quarter scared the crap out of me, especially with us seemingly losing one player every other play right before the half. It was our season in a nutshell-- a whole bunch of injuries, but someone stepping up and making a contribution. This is one of the most improbable seasons I can ever remember, not just for the Packers, but for any team. To have 15 guys on IR would have devastated most teams under the circumstances. Not only that, but to have to win 3 tough road games and then beat an elite team in the Super Bowl without most of your starting secondary for the entire second half is just mind-boggling. I sincerely can't believe it. This is even sweeter than Super Bowl XXXI to me because it seemed so improbable, especially after the loss to Detroit. I look forward to many years of hard-fought Bears/Packers battles as both teams are actually good at the same time for once. If the Bears get another playmaking WR and make a few other upgrades, they're gonna be scary good. It's going to be an interesting few years and I can't wait. Now is the worst time of year-- that long stretch between the Super Bowl and Opening Day. I hate this time of year.
