    He'll be the first in a long, long line to do that to Houston this year. That is true. The Pirates are batting Lyle Overbay clean up and the Astros are batting Bill Hall 5th. :? Don't know why they don't have Alvarez batting 4th. Pirates should be trying to get Walker, McCutchen and Alvarez as many ab's as possible. The Pirates seem to be collecting a lot of really talented guys now that they are willing to spend in the draft. How is the coaching in their minor leagues? All that talent doesn't do much for them if they can't properly develop it.

    Sigh :( But seriously, have a good year guys. Stay healthy. And it should be a 4 team race for the division this year. It would be pretty awesome if the top 4 teams in the division were all within about 4 games of each other in late August.

    Also near the back of the issue they had a "What if" piece of fiction work that has the Cubs winning Game 6 with the whole Bartman thing never happening. It ended with Kenny Lofton getting struck by lightning right before catching the World Series clinching out in Game 7.
