Considering we have a ton of question marks in our rotation, that's not a bad idea at all. You'd have to send him down to stretch him out. He's every bit as valuable in our pen when used properly as he would be as a starter.
I'm a Lou supporter. I don't criticize him nearly as much as a lot of people here do, but walking Young to pitch to Jackson and load the bases was Dusty-esque in its stupidity.
Is Soriano's calf bothering him? Why sit him after 4 hits yesterday? He's finally putting it together at the plate. If there is rain in the forecast then I support saving Z for tomorrow. I just hope he's not one of those pitchers that sucks on extra rest.
2 HR's by May 10th does not equal power. I'm not complaining, though. By that I meant that he does have power to some extent. He should still be batting 2nd though with Soto 5th.
