  1. You keep forgetting: They're the Cubs. If there's a way to lose a game, they've done it. Often times in the most painfully hilarious way possible.
  2. I hope it's simply the grip that's giving him that added movement. I posted in the game thread that his slider reminds me of the one he had his rookie year-- the one that also helped to blow out his elbow because of the tremendous strain it put on it. I hope he's not putting that kind of tourque on his elbow again.
  3. Some of his pitches have that nastiness to them that he had his rookie year. That one pitch to strike out Young in the 9th the other day was eerily reminicent of the 20th strikeout pitch.
  4. That's the second time that's happened to Dusty.
  5. I'll take it, but I'd trade these 3 wins for 3 last October.
  6. I can only hope Wood is as nasty as he was last time. Sweet Jesus. 9 pitches, all strikes.
  7. If you told me coming out of Cincy that we'd be playing this well against the best team in the NL, I'd have said you were nuts.
  8. Is there any reason Lou likes Marquis as a pinch runner so much?
  9. WARD!! OMG ALSDKFASDOIFJAOWI3KM5AOSIUFAL!!!!
  10. Because Cedeno killed Lou's dog and had sex with his wife.
  11. IBB to Soriano. Of course. I don't blame them.
  12. Just a fly ball. You don't even have to get a hit here. Just a lousy fly ball is all I ask.
  13. Tapper in front of the plate, Soto out at 1st, Kouske to 2nd, Aram holds at 3rd.
