  1. of course he did. i can't believe people actually thought he really just saw it and walked away, allowing it to continue. i assumed he either stopped it or sandusky saw him and stopped. The report is that McQueary sent an email to his former teammates saying he made sure it was over before he turn and ran away. He didn't tell the grand jury that, and the most likely scenario is that when they locked eyes, everybody froze. But if all the old man did was pull out before McQueary ran, he has no way of knowing if it stopped. He didn't break up anything, he merely interrupted. i highly doubt that sandusky would just carry on with his raping after someone saw him raping and then left. come on. Yeah, but if you're ballsy enough (no pun intended) to bring a child to your place of employment and rape him in an area accessible to all of your co-workers, who knows what else you're capable of?
  2. He was asked "Are you sexually attracted to children" and his answer was pretty much "SEXUALLY attracted? No."
  3. First regular season game I went to was the Giants game last year. I'm going to the Bucs game on Sunday. Please don't blow that streak. You're a jerk and I hate you. I've never been to Lambeau for a game. :(
  4. I think it means they are no longer legally considered a "union" and it gives them some sort of legal advantage now or something.
  5. Is Hendry still on as Theo's lackey?
  6. It is on Elm Street.
  7. Nice knowing ya, NBA.
  8. I doubt Green Bay ever throws more than 45 passes in a game and even so, wow the idea of having the ball in his hands 45 times is terrifying...to the other team. The last couple of years when Rodgers is forced to throw around 40 times a game the Packers have won (including the Super Bowl). If you put your focus into stopping Green Bay's running game you are dumb and you will lose. I wonder how good the O would be with even an average RB.
  9. http://i.imgur.com/MrjLf.png The circle is Jerry Sandusky's house. The other building is a school.
  10. Is he still even in organized baseball?
  11. Per the MLB Twitter feed.
  12. I'd trade Marmol for anything remotely good, so yes. Maybe the Angels sign Pujols/Fielder and we can send Marmol there for Morales. Marmol can bring us more in value than a guy who has missed the last 2 seasons due to injury and will be a huge question mark. I'm not saying he'll bring us a top 10 prospect or anything, but we can do better than Kendrys Morales.
  13. Honestly I'm surprised there hasn't been an angry mob gathered on his lawn.
  14. I'm guessing they're finally going to give Brown his chance in LF. I don't think they are going to have too much problem replacing the guys they lost in 2011, but it's the guys they are going to lose in 2012/2013 that are going to be an issue. They aren't going to be able to keep all of them, and they don't have many replacements for them waiting. i agree that brown should be getting his chance. though im not quite sure that this signing makes a whole lot of sense. the phils are lacking offense, consistant offense. and obviously theres a window there as some of the guys are getting older. i'd have thought they'd look to upgrade the offense more than spend a ton on a closer. when we faced them in the playoffs this past year, i can honestly say that noone in their lineup scared me. i felt that rollins was hot and was getting on a lot, but after rollins, you can get those guys out. the bottom of their lineup was just abysmal. so im not sure what their plan is, but whatever it is they are good at hiding it. Marmol for Dominick Brown?
  15. I'm glad this turned out well. I was worried it wouldn't.
  16. Crasnik is reporting Carroll to the Twins where he'd be the everyday SS.
  17. It gets better: Per Jayson Stark: There is a vesting option (he does not specify what) that could bring the deal to $60 million.
  18. 4 years/ $50 million pending physical, per Jim Salisbury on Twitter.
  19. WHAT IF MCQUEARY IS VICTIM 2?!?!?!? DUM DUM DUMMMMMMMMMMMMM ZOMG!!
  20. I wonder if McQueary was himself a victim of Sandusky at one point, seeing as he has known the man since he was a young boy. Also, has the NCAA issued a statement on this, or are they more concerned making sure kids don't get free shoes?
  21. To the Mystery Machine!
  22. That has to be it. I'm sure the [expletive] will really hit the fan if he's let go. The fact that they got rid of the University president and legendary head football coach and spared a lowly wide recievers coach is very telling.
  23. The Board of Trustees is asking that he not be on the field for Saturday's game out of safety concerns. Also, sponsors are starting to pull out of Penn State football games. Cars.com pulled their ads for the next 2 weeks on ESPN during Penn State games.
  24. Um, aren't there all sorts of laws that would protect the person from termination (under threat of a serious lawsuit)?
