Ok, seriously, they're just [expletive] with us now. There is no way that someone thought that dicking around for nearly an hour was a good idea. I'm with JR, if you want to do all this stuff, start an hour earlier.
A hard cap would be ok, but there should be a couple season grandfather period in which teams can gradually adjust and meet the deadline by a certain year, instead of having to gut their teams right away.
Why? An old man in bad health for a decade finally died. I don't know why. He's always been there. Mostly as the guy I loved to hate in baseball. I guess it is a strange reaction to have given the situation. He seemed like one of those larger-than-life iconic figures. It's always a little hard to grasp when they're first gone.

Is it wrong that I'm extremely jealous of those kids in the OF that get to shag flies? I would have murdered nuns at that age to get a chance like that.

Who knows? I wonder if he'd be interested in going to Miami once Fisher decides to stay with LA. And can Jesse Jackson have his vocal cords removed? Anyone crying about racism in the aftermath of this whole situation isn't all there. But again, consider the source. He really needs to shut up. He does more harm than good for his cause. Every time something bad happens to or something bad is said about a black person it isn't always seeded in racism.
