    I agree with the sentiment, but what other role was he going to get elsewhere. I thought that medically, Wood had made the decision to be a reliever. I really think he could have gotten up to 5-7MM from other teams, with a chance to enter ST as a starter, or a guaranteed chance at closing. The market for pitchers is ridiculous. And besides any of that, it's obvious that Wood specifically prefers the city of Chicago and its' fans. i really think you're wrong on the bolded portion

Disgruntled Cubs Fan, we can ALL be as Disgruntled as you. For that, I am saddened. Go Cubs (in 2106) I'm just glad everyone is uniting against the Hendry Administration. Sometimes it has to hit rock bottom before it gets better. It's just now hitting rock bottom? i fully expect things to get worse b4 they get better

    its funny, i dont really care if the cubs re-sign ARam, cause they're gonna suck one way or the other...i am however quite anxious to see how off the hook everyones reaction is at midnight...its like a train wreck, i just cant look away

    When Aram is a Dodger next week my point will be more clear. what exactly do you expect him to do, hold ARam and his ageant hostage until they sign?really, you can only sit at the table with the same ppl for so many hours a day, i'm glad to see Hendry is useing his off time(from trying to sign ARam) wisely
