If the Cubs won't match any offer he can get on the open market, especially after they've proclaimed their willingness to increase payroll, then we'll know the Cubs really don't want him. If ARam takes a lower contract to play for someone else then I'll blame him. i cant help but think the cubs wont match any reasonable offer, if in fact the cubs are really dedicated to winning this year...
