If he doesn't play at all, he will still have averaged 30 minutes played in games 4 and 5. He looked like the walking dead at the end of the third overtime. wouldn't have been surprised if they'd had to "put him down" after the game.

Rumor has it Marcus Smart will return to OSU. Seems like a bad decision from a financial/draft position pov. Kid was gonna be a top 3 pick.

KU's spring game was on Sat, and Jake Heaps looked like a significant upgrade over Dayne Crist. We might actually have a Big 12 QB. OU transfer Justin McCay played well, and our defensive looks to be improved. I really think Weis's JUCO strategy for this year might buy us some wins. I think we even have an outside shot at a super crappy bowl if we can stay healthy, the last of the JUCO guys make it to campus, and they can gel by conference season. OL looks to be the biggest question mark, which is scary.

Some encouraging reports from the Jordan Classic. 7'0" Jojo Embiid is being described as the breakout star. Wayne Selden is also standing out after a strong showing at the McDonald's game. And Conner Frankamp has one of the purest strokes I've seen. I know it's a pipedream, but if we could nab Wiggins, we'd be dangerous.

all this Creaning stuff is pretty lame. UI has run players off in a less egregious fashion, sure. But it's still kids being told that there's no place for them at the school they wanted to go to. That sucks, too. But let's be honest. Ever school has done it. Or would do it if they felt they had a shot at better recruits. It's all a business, one skewed against the students unfortunately. And yes, I know Self does it, too. And yes, it sucks for those kids who practice for a year and give their all to the program. But it's the price of having a good college program. PS. It's different when UK does it because everyone there is evil and Calipari is a Satanist pedophile. -

he expects it, but i don't i don't think I agree with that....even if all 4 left, UM has three 4 star prospects coming into to replace Burke, Hardaway and Robinson. Personally I don't think McGary leaves. Robinson shouldn't leave but he will. Expecting 3 4*s to come in and fill the void for Burke, Hardaway, and Robinson is pretty ambitious. And given how deep next year's class is, McGary has to strongly consider leaving. He's old for a FR, and his stock may not get much higher. I think it will be a tough season for both our teams next year. Even with a lot of talent coming in, we're both replacing a ton of firepower.
