  1. Forgot to mention KC over a Locker-less Titans team. But that one makes me super nervous.
  2. So I'm in a survivor pool at work. The pot is $2500. Moving into week 5, there are only six people alive. I don't watch a ton of NFL, but so far I've survived. This week is a toughie, though, and I could use some expert advice. For those of you who've never done one, the rules are: •You have to correctly pick the winner of one game (the matchup of your choice) every week. •If your pick is correct, you advance to the following week. •If your pick is wrong, you are eliminated. Last man standing wins. •You can only pick a team to win once the entire season. So far, I've used Indianapolis Baltimore Seattle Denver I'm considering Atl over NYJ, StL over Jax, SF over the Texans. Thoughts?
  3. plus you can't forget about those 4-0 tigers of ol mizzou just waiting to make a big leap sorry, a very reputable SEC power ranking had them dead last. Ha! I have never claimed to be reputable, but I do see them in the bottom 4. Where would you have them? Next week at Vandy is a litmus test, but otherwise the only chances they have for wins are Tennessee or Kentucky. I don't know when this became me versus Missouri, but I just see them winning 2 conference games at most. Bottom four, but not last. I think you had them last.

  5. I would kill a baby for a win against Texas Tech. Outside of KSU, that might be my least favorite fanbase in the Big 12.
  6. there's something about tim brando that makes me want to throw my shoe through my TV
  7. Just watched Georgia/LSU and OU/ND, and now I'm bummed I have to watch whatever it is we call football at KU for 8 more games. We look like a high school team compared to those guys.
  8. Not for long hopefully. This team is atrocious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free Defense isn't the problem. They've actually played mediocrely this year, which is an enormous step up. It's the offense that's the problem. Also, Campo isn't really the DC. He's an asst. head coach/def coordinator. Clint Bowen is the DC who calls the game.
  9. so far our WR have no TDs this game, but they have tackled one of our own receivers, so that's something.
  10. what a disgraceful call.
  11. If my counting is correct he's already matched the total # of TD passes for 2012 KU football #whataboringfight Yeah I can't muster the energy to argue about this.
  12. This isn't really an area that Illinois fans should be talking a lot of [expletive], is it?
  13. Not sure what you mean about the last part. The Big 12 sucks this year, but usually it's hardly a cakewalk conference. OU is almost always a heavy hitter, and a couple of OSU, Baylor, or K State usually field pretty good teams.
  14. Sad that a road game against Rice seems virtually unwinnable.
  15. I thought we had a chance for 5 wins this year, but this game is not inspiring any confidence.
  16. F yeah, KU vs. South Dakota. Two teams coming off 1-11 seasons squaring off. TUNE IN, FOLKS.
  17. Does that effectively eliminate them from the Alexander sweepstakes?
  18. The Big 12 is horrible. KSU lost to NDSU, who, admittedly is a very good subdivision team. Iowa State is down two touchdowns to Northern Iowa in the second quarter. WVU eeked out a win against William & Mary. Texas down early to NMSU (a 1-11 team last year), although they'll win that game. Curious to see if TCU can compete with LSU. OKSt's offense was underwhelming in their win vs Ole Miss St.
  19. Hahaha, Casey Pachall just described as a "feel good story of rehabilitation."
  20. It's so easy to dislike Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M.
  21. A couple of oldies but goodies. http://www.totalprosports.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/11-unhappy-k-state-fan-2012-13-bowl-season-gifs.gif http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee223/golfcrtdan/web%20pics/willie-wildcat-kicks-kid_zps5030eee3.gif

  23. True. I also saw it on the Texas A&M message boards and on Reveille the Collie's wordpress blog.
  24. Raisin, what can you tell me about TJ Millweard? Word is he's transferring and considering KU.
  25. Pierre Pierce beats Iowa with a last second shot. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/polarizing-ex-iowa-star-pierre-pierce-leaves-hawkeyes-141302016.html
