Well, New Mexico is a tough 7 seed, assuming KU wins its opening round game. We beat them by 17 earlier in the season, but Embiid was huge in the game and got their 7 footer in foul trouble. That will be tough to win. Overall, it will be a tough bracket for us to go far in, though I'd probably say that about any draw we got. We're too inconsistent, and JoJo being out makes it really impossible to evaluate how good we are.

Well losing Embiid makes you look a lot more human on defense. Last three games you have given up over 90 twice. so sad that they're down to only five McDonald AAs! hoiberg coached circles around self. wow. Once in 25 games. Give him a lifetime contract! he's beat kansas twice in the last 3 years (i'll throw out his first year since he inherited a mess). and he's a mclemore banked 3 and a miscarriage of justice from 4 wins in 3 seasons. I can live with that. you think there's another team in the conference that's competed better against kansas the last 3 seasons? Probably not, since we win the conference every year. A good coach tells someone to get a hand in McLemore's face. Hoiberg is 2-8 vs Self. Looks like he's had circles coached around him more than a few times.

Probably one of your highly ranked kids who wouldn't have given ISU the time of day out of high school? Seriously, you'll be fine. Told you we didn't have anyone to guard Niang. Embiid bothered him a bit. Traylor and Black can't stay w him. I can't believe that you guys are this bad on defense. Very unSelf like. It's crazy that we're the 30th best defensive team per kenpom

MSU has had all their players back since the Illinois game, just in time for what is their only "bad" loss of the year. Question is can they get it into gear by the start of the tournament. Biggest injury question going into the tourney, IMO, is Kansas' Joel Embiid. Embiid out for the first weekend of the tourney, maybe longer. There's a very real chance we might not make it past the round 32 without him. I like your tier approach, but I do think there are some problems. A road game vs a Top 75 game is valued the same as a road game vs. 25. So when you look at that chart and see a team with multiple losses in Tier one, you still aren't getting a clear picture of the types of losses they have. However, that chart represents KU much more accurately than I think general perception does. KU gets a lot of credit for playing a very difficult schedule, and they should. But they also have lost a lot of games against their top opposition. And they're an average road team, at best.

Lol, Wiggins doesn't win PoTY in Big 12. Alright, whatever. Ejim had a very good year, too. But he also doesn't make all-defensive team in the Big 12? Give me a break.

that seems like the exact thing the new rules were made for . If smart had been on the receiving end of that, he would've dropped to the floor like a sniper took him out.
