I don't care that he said it. I care that he believes it. It shows a total inability to evaluate talent. The man in charge of turning our team into a legitimate contender sees Sam Fuld as an untouchable player. That doesn't bother you?

All I can say is good luck finding anything close to Pasadena. What would you recommend then? We already accept that we'll likely have to rent 2 cars. you can sleep on my couch for 150/night. I have a spare room, that'll cost you 250/night. Cereal is on the house. What kind of cereal? And are you more fun to hang out with than Raisin? Dude, I've got an ARRAY of cereal. Healthy stuff--kashi, Raisin Bran, cheerios. The good stuff--Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Hot stuff--Oat meal. Nasty stuff--Grape Nuts. And hell yeah, I'm more fun than Raisin. He's a MOD, for God's sake. There's probably no swearing or personal attacks allowed in his house. In the Snood Manse, anything goes.

I'm right on the Glendale/LA border. I have no idea where the RB is, though. I'm 10 mins away in the next town over from Pasadena. The Rose Bowl is right after the actual Eagle Rock and right before the 210-134 split/Old Town Pasadena if you're coming from Glendale. Actually, you're probably the same distance away as I am. BTW, I probaly drive by you to work every day - I take the 2 all the way down to Glendale Blvd. So we're the same distance. It all comes down to this: do you have cereal.

And that's exactly what it is. A rumor. He provides no source, no evidence. Mizzou (I believe) returned tickets from its last 2 bowl games. They also had a terrible attendance showing at the Big XII championship game. KU sold both theirs out and asked for more. Past travel history has a lot to do with it. In the interest of full disclosure, that writer is a Mizzou grad, too.

That's silly. If they used that logic, everybody in the Big XII south would've played Nebraska or Colorado. None of these programs are guaranteed to be good. The imbalanced schedule is a problem, but that's not a solution. nebraska and colorado haven't been very good in recent years. texas and oklahoma have. Fine, then who are the sure thing teams in the BXII north that everyone has to play? There aren't any. Just like there aren't any sure things in the south, either. The John Blake/Howard Schnellenberger OU days aren't that long ago. It's a silly proposition. There are no "surefire" good teams.
