neither is a concern. Since naming rights affects all sports equally, I'd pick the cookie cutters of the two options. But as Derwood pointed out, they're all pretty much gonzo anyway. -
I thought that was Packer. Happy to sneak out of CoMo with a win. Gonna have to watch a replay to see what happened. You shot 45 free throws on the road. :shock: I didn't get to see the game though. I live in Kansas City and the damn thing wasn't on unless you have ESPNU. Comcast here does not. Yeah, it's not on espn360 either. Anderson is complaining about the fouls, but they called 30 on MU and 22 on KU, and MU was (according to what I've read) fouling at the end of the game, so that's a pretty even split. The FT discrepancy comes from the fact KU got fouled more in the act of shooting. MU took 28 treys, so it sounds like they jump-shot more than drove. Again, I'm not gonna say the reffing was fair or unfair because I didn't see the game. But the stats seem to bear out that Mizzou didn't get jobbed like Mike Anderson is claiming.

University of Miami stole KU's D-coordinator, Bill Young. Sucks for us, but can't blame him. He'll be working with talent he could only dream about landing at KU.

Please let us stay within 40 on Saturday night. We've had really good teams lose in COlumbia before. It could happen this year, especially if you play like you did against Texas and we come out flat. If you press us, though, we'll chew you up. Anderson needs to keep it slow against us.

I shouldn't have said we'd "kill" UNC, because I don't think it would be a blowout. But I think we'd own them defensively and physically. I think Beasley is the best player in college hoops, but I don't think KSU will make the tourney. Not sure who I'd pick after that.

I really think Carolina is a step below Kansas, Memphis, and UCLA. They don't guard anyone. I agree. I think we'd kill them. The only teams that scare me are UCLA and Memphis. That's not to say those are the only teams that can beat us. I think we'll lose 1 or 2 games before the tourney. But UCLA and Memphis are the only 2 I'd love to avoid in the tourney.

boy it seems like UNC gets a lot of calls. Tech looks tired out there, though.

KU beats OU 85-55. I wish Blake Griffin hadn't gone down, as he would have really increased the degree of difficulty, though we probably still would've blown them out. Huge game at Mizzou this weekend. Plenty of great KU teams have tripped up in columbia. Hopefully we'll curb-stomp them this year.

I think IU is right round ten, IMO. I'd put them behind (not necessarily in this order): KU Memphis UNC UCLA Georgetown Wazzu aTm Texas (despite being so Jekyll and Hyde recently) Duke and Tennessee maybe. MSU, no.

The Hoskins thing really sucks. He's a player, and he's fun to watch. Brandon Rush going off in the 1st half here. KU should run more plays for him to be a spot-up shooter. He still isn't great off the bounce, but man he can shoot.
