  1. I bet rodriguez thinks he looked so cool punching that gatorade. he will be in for a rude awakening when he sees the highlights.
  2. the stupid all-star game deciding WS HFA has got to go. I can't believe it's lasted this long.
  3. Arrieta on twitter talking [expletive]. Love it. [attachment=0]Screen Shot 2015-10-04 at 6.46.44 PM.png[/attachment]

  5. There has been discussion of Schwarbs playing RF in Pitt. With the dimensions of PNC park, it's better to have a superior defender in LF. Joe is likely gauging whether Schwarbs can be comfortable with that switch now.
  6. that's a clown question, bro
  7. advance congrats on your win vs the worst team in college football, abuck
  8. It's nice to be incorporated but it's incorporate to be nice. holy [expletive] jersey. amazing.
  9. I completely agree, but I suspect we'll continue to see it happen. Just so we make this clear: I'm not saying I think Baez will suck in the future. I'm simply saying I don't care that he's spent a couple of weeks spraying line drives in the majors. All these posts to make that limp point? Good lord.
  10. Just an awful game to watch. Rutgers is really undisciplined. That combined with everything going on in that program...I'd be surprised if they won more than one more game. KU...just not much to say about them. Fewer scholarship players than most FBS teams, and it shows. Defensive line in particular is astonishingly bad. Combine that with a mostly FR secondary and LBs that are either too slow or too small or both... look for Perine to break his single game rushing record vs us.
  11. Man, you could see that coming from a mile away. Soler and Baez seem like the last two guys you want against this dude.
  12. Please put the ball in play, Jorge.
  13. It's crazy how good he is already. Just curious how you guys think Bryant will improve as he matures in the league? I expect he'll hit more dongs, but in what other areas do you think he'll get better?
  14. I think it's probably fairly common for people who are known as "always happy" or whatever to struggle with the fact they aren't and can't always be happy. I have a friend with a similar personality. Everyone loved being around him because he always smiled and was upbeat. Recently he's become very open about the fact that he's actually depressed much of the time, but he felt he had to live up to that expectation others had of him. Regardless, it's sad to think of Ernie like that, especially in his final days. thanks for sharing the article.
  15. yay, cubs, but no reason to throw 120 pitches tonight.
  16. wasnt that 2003? I remember Tom Goodwin being a Lemon.
  17. Any Yadi quotes on his filthy, below-the-belt, dirtbaggery in attempting to injure Addison?
  18. i am still livid. What a ridiculous send.
  19. Yadier Molina is human trash. Also, let's light this hyperactive piece of [expletive] up.
  20. Why do Cardinals fans all say our bullpen is awful? If you ever read their board, that is brought up constantly. We only have two good starters, and our bullpen is awful.
  21. did not disappoint I'm so pissed I can't see it. Describe the glory. Some guy hit a ball that had a trail of fire behind it. It looked sure to blaze right through Fowler's chest and to the wall for an inside-the-park home run. Then, suddenly, the skies parted and a dong descended from heaven. And verily, as the prophecies had foretold, it was not a dong of bat, but a dong of glove. Streaking through the sky, Addison Russell snatched the ball of fire from the air. As the runner was a step away from second base, Addison transferred the ball from his glove to his hand, using only the power of love. The ball was flipped to Javier Baez, who stretched out his arm, stretched it to the length of 7 mighty men. The flip was in time. The Cubs were victorious. Is that too long to have tattooed to my back?
  22. omg if they did that, the city of StL might implode.
  23. is there any chance Dan Haren can have a repeat performance?
