Why? I dunno, just thought he played for them and all. I know Roy Williams while at Kansas wouldn't touch guys that UNC was after. yeah, that courtesy doesn't extend to KU now that he's at UNC. Grr. I thought that courtesy only extended to Dean Smith and ended after Dean left. No. He almost never recruited the same players as UNC. Basically, he refused to recruit the entire east coast, under the assumption it just wasn't possible to lure those kids away from home. I believe his words were "there were too many good schools to fly over between the east coast and KU." Of course, now that he's at UNC, anytime a star player pops up in our neighborhood, he's more than happy to jump in he mix.

why? they lost a ton of key parts and are breaking in a new QB. I don't think they'll be very good. 3rd tops in the Big XII North.

Yes he is. Hey, have you heard any recent news on Wayne Blackshear? I'm hearing rumors that he may have peaked early, and folks are wondering if he's not quite the prospect they once thought he was. blackshear is talented, it's just that there are doubts that he's a guard. he doesn't shoot well, he doesn't guard well, and he absolutely got waxed head-to-head against brandon paul. i don't want him at this point if it means missing out on bradley beal, who self is hot after as well. i don't expect to beat kansas out for a recruit, though, even one that isn't seriously considering them at this point (even though beal is, which just makes it tougher). sam thompson is the player out of that class that we really need. he's the one with the highest ceiling. Barnes, Beal, and Perry Ellis are the three guys I want most during the next few years.

I was thinking the same thing. Cal is the obvious one, but there's got to be someone closer to home that's got him so upset. I can't think of anyone in the ACC reputed to be shady, though. Could he also be talking about UConn? Not the ACC, but Williams probably clashes with him quite a bit while recruiting.

Well, not really. Who are you thinking? Villanova? Nova and Texas will be tough outs even with Henry, I think. You can throw MSU and Purdue into the mix, too. I think UNC is probably a bit overrated, but they're always dangerous. UK is a total wildcard, though I'd love to see them faceplant. I just can't see UK being that good yet, relying on a ton of frosh. I like Mich St. although losing Suton is going to hurt. UNC isn't going to be good enough to beat KU. Basically I would go right now. KU Nova MSU Texas If Henry stays, I'd go KU, Nova, UT, MSU.

I believe so. I guess there could be different rules in place for walk ons, but I kinda doubt it. My thinking is CJ will play about 3 minutes per game and leave. There aren't. He had to get special dispensation to transfer to KU from Memphis without sitting out a year, and it was granted because he never suited up for UM (he broke his foot twice while there.) In fact, he was going to stay at Memphis if transferring was going to force him to sit out a year. If he's as good as he thinks he is, he should stay. Collins is gone for sure, and X and Tyshawn might go, too. There could be minutes available next year at the guard spots.

It said candidates have to be US citizens. I'm assuming their absence means none of them have received citizenship.
