    so what? why shouldn't the quality of win influence somebody's subjective opinion. seems you want it both ways too. you want everyone to forget about the loss to SC and excuse it for injuries. injuries are no excuse. if you were really a good team you would have overcome it. isn't that what usually goes hand in hand with "should have losts are losses"?

    is there some unwritten rule that there has to be two SEC teams in the top 6? why all this talk about Arkansas leap frogging anybody? ND, seriously kwitchurbeliakin. again, I am a fan, but do you honestly think your season has been any more impressive than say WV, Wisconsin or Wake? the Irish have made many an undeserved leapfrog in their day and the only reason they are where they are at right now is how severly over-ranked they were going into the season.

    the DB made a good play by getting his hand in there on the second down play. Mush dropped four points today, but sometimes you have to give credit where it is due.

    That's completely on the coaching staff. INT for TD, fumble returned inside the 15 (by a receiver filling in for an injured player), and a muffed punt at the six. how exactly does one coach to avoid any of these?

    illegal pick by Chambers. blantant. he even looked around to see if he got a flag. I know what the Bears should do. they should stop giving them the ball inside our own 20?

    I know I shouldn't concern myself with stats, but it blows that these points will count against the defense.

    hard for a WR to block a CB in the back on a running play like that. was more of a double grab of the jersey on the shoulders and don't let go then push the CB to the ground after he finally rips free.

    all these offsides are a result of this center dancing around so much. the guys shoulders and hips are moving around like Rush Limbaugh impersonating Michael J. Fox. he's still moving when he snaps the ball.

    if only they would invent some machine that provides nearly any information you want instantaneously. I envision such an invention could also be used for people from vast distances to communicate in written form.

    I was going to ask if anyone else noticed, Wale, flat out tackled by the center I believe. how does he see a penalty that did not happen, the late hit, but not see one that is right at the smack dab center of what he is supposed to be watching?

    well Hester doesn't return kickoffs, so why is Peterson in for Davis? I'm more concerned about injuries than the score.

    shut up Deirdorf. he never hit him with his helmet. neither helmet moved at all. edit - further more, Manning didn't launch. he jumped to try to block the pass. how is he seeing things over and over that just aren't there?

    the called a couple of them. no camera angle showed it but there was no reason for Davis to have slowed down on that ball other than being grabbed.

    Bernard hurt his eye, no further news yet. lots of dings today. Clark came up hobbling after a catch. special teams contributor to the locker room. don't want to see alot of injuries going into this east coast stretch.
