  1. nice job covering the ball Rashied.
  2. No kidding. there was holding (actually tackling) at the point of attack as well. that's how the hole was washed out for Hunter to spectate from. we're just gonna have to give up on the officiating front and win the game anyway. it's like a Cubs game with Wendlstadt behind the dish.
  3. the thing is, I've been waiting for a change of pace like that all season in the bad games (MN, AZ, MIA, first half) but it never comes. no draws, no cutback runs, no play action rollouts, no screens. very Ditka-ish. "I'll do it my way or I won't do it at all." finally conservativism forces them into it, and look what happens.
  4. ND getting moe nervous by the minute.
  5. tide of the game has changed, but did you notice the o-line effort on that play v. the effort the gave on the same play the two times it was run to Benson in the first half?
  6. put the damn ball away Bradley.
  7. he's a game manager. we need a play making QB like T-zak.
  8. well you do have to consider that the Bears wouldn't have had the ball at the forty right there the safety had been called. more accurately the score should be Giants 10 Bears 12 with the ball and driving.
  9. ok, now take over this game and put the fear back into ND.
  10. unnecessary penalty. "sometimes" you do John, but not when you are the Bears against the Hochuli crew.
  11. two plays in a row. there was the roughing penalty, but if not, it would have been third and four instead of third and two, all because Jones refuses to give effort.
  12. naw. that extra yard you could get isn't that important TJ. just let a cornerback run you out of bounds.
  13. that should have been a safety. there were three holds in the endzone.
  14. I don't recall seeing anyone blaming Grossman right there. yes, but much of what he was being blamed for earlier, he was as much fault as that play.
  15. Wasn't Elway anti-Indy? geez I have a bad memory. nd already caught it, but back then it was Baltimore.
  16. what's funny about the SD flap is the same thing that was funny about the Elway flap. two or three years later, New England was in the Super Bowl, before Denver made it. same thing looks like it might happen for San Diego.
  17. Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, and Joe Montana were all total dorks.
  18. this got lost in the Panthers argument and touchdown. thoughts anyone?
  19. I still cannot believe they ruled Tillman wasn't down. Is it just me or does it seem like the referee's reviews have gotten worse and even less accurate over the last few years. I think it's that year in, year out, several of the most blatant errors come against the Bears. starting with Majikalphabet to the play I referred to earlier against Detroit in the last game of 2004. the debacle where the Saints benefitted from a penalty in the red zone at the end of the half in 2003, etc etc etc.
  20. where's the coverage? that's a bs penalty right there. no covering up the guy who fumbled I guess.
  21. I picked the wrong time to bring up a couple of discussion topics. nice toss Rex. where's the flag for grabbing the receiver after five yards? does that maybe have something to do with no receivers being open downfield most of the first half?
