OTA reception is strictly a hobby for me. I enjoy the challenge. I'm currently working with a roof mount, which affords me good reception only in optimum conditions. I'm confident that a big-ass tower will aid my chances considerably.
avsforum.com is one of my favorite haunts. I'm a yahoo myself, and the XG91 is just barely enough for my needs. I have to cover 80+ miles with deficient line-of-sight and over mountainous terrain. Once I get my tower up, we'll see what she can do.
Firing Baker likely wouldn't fix the team, but it would relieve at least some of the fans' misery. We can't get rid of Jones, Neifi, Pierre, etc. ... but we can get rid of the embarrassment at the front of the bench.
The Silver Sensor is a nice antenna, but to me you're not really trying unless you have a full-blown outdoor antenna rig. Get a decently-sized Channel Master or Wineguard up on the roof, or if you're really into this, something more exotic — you won't be fretting over weak signals anymore.
You remind me of the Toyota fans who hang out at a GM site I frequent. Why would you expect anything else here? To answer your question ... if eating the tickets is (A), and selling them to you is (B), I'm taiking (A) every time.
His getting replaced by Rathburn ought to put all the Chip backers into shame-induced hibernation. Rathburn is total garbage, and Torborg makes Joe Carter look good by comparison. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not say things we can't take back... Have you ever listened to them? Braves fans should storm the gates over this.
