    No, that is something that gets un-noticed in a winning game but is bad baseball none-the-less. People have every right to be upset about it. Just becuase the team is ahead it does not make stupid baseball any more acceptable.

I don't know if this is a true story, but it is one I've heard Tommy Lasorda tell a number of times. Tommy Lasorda once had Sandy Kofax long after he retired, ptich batting practice either during the WS when the Dodgers were facing a lefty. After about two guys Lasorda had to remove him becuase no one could touch him.
