Harrison Bergeron? 10 cyber dollars for anyone who gets this reference. Vonnegut Yes. Society dictated that everyone had to be equal. Pay up! the check is in the cyber mail. There's a high probability it will get lost. You know the internets are awfully complicated.
Cabrera is eligible for arbitration after this season. That 350K will skyrocket. Just because they own his rights does not mean they can keep him. Florida has a 15 mil payroll theis year. Being a first year arbitration eligible player he will get about 4 mil at most. There is no financial burden to Florida. They won't be dumping salary for him. You obviously aren't well acquainted with Jeff Loria. They have to keep salary low so they are more attractive to move. 4 mill is almost 1/3 of the team's payroll.
Yes. And then Dusty called for a hit and run and Barrett threw his bat at the ball and the utter stupidiity of it shocked everybody so much Giles made a crappy throw to 2nd. Everydody safe. Everybody wins. Go Cubs !
Bynum and Neifi Perez on the field at the same time creates a negative run vortex that sucks everyone in. We need to come up with a fancy-shamcy scientific name for that theory. Stupidity. It's a technical term. Hit and Run?
Tangotiger, Me again. Do you think the world of fantasy baseball has had any impact on the way an MLB team makes personnel decisons. Thanks again. CubinNY.
Tangotiger, Athough much more lip service is paid to the scientific method in baseball analysis (at least in the popular media) it seems to me that most teams still use mostly traditional methods to make personnel decisions. Would you agree or disagree with that and why? Thanks.
