I can't remember who I used to argue with this about, maybe it was you. But I don't get the LaStella hate. He played in 9 games from April to August (and I think the majority of them were injury riddled). He then played 24 games in Sept/Oct (11 starts to finally get a little rhythm) and hit .311/.360/.489 for an .849 OPS in those 24 games. He was on a tear down the stretch for us. His injuries sucked but he was good when he was healthy. he looks like a rat Don Mattingly disease. His neck is 1/8 too long and his shoulder are 1/8 too narrow.

I saw someone tweet about one of them, one of your standard quick throws to first after a pitch that the Cubs have done so often in recent years. They were both throws to first, one a traditional tag by Rizzo and the second he threw down and they got the guy in a rundown. He also made the play on Hamilton's SB a lot closer than it should have been with a great throw. Man, if Schwarber can be at least passible at catcher the Cubs are going to be historic.

I don't have a tattoo of any kind, but if I did it would not be a a Cubs tattoo. I only have one tattoo. Never regretted it. What would your (horrendous) non-Cubs choice be? I don't think I would get one, but if I did it would be ; in a location not public. I like what that symbolizes.

Stephan A Smith is in a league of his own, he wins that tourny without breaking a sweat. The only real challenger is Collin Cowheard, but Smith is so freaking terrible at everything it is not really a contest. If they had a douchiest bracket I think Joe Buck would have to be a favorite to go all the way.

I'd be on board with that. He will likely be up this year if/when Ross or Montero goes on the DL. Imagine how pissed everyone will be when a non-high pick who came out of nowhere joins Bryant, Russell, Soler, Schwarber Maddon pixie dust.
