    For much of their existence, only two teams made the playoffs. I'd say they've suffered the same curse as the Cubs, bad ownership.

    This should be an interesting series. The Redsox are 14-12 and 5-5 in their last 10. Neither team has played stellar defense so far and both teams have been hit by injuries. Hopefully, the Cubs can get this 1st one and build on it.

    <Looks at watch> Where? I've told this story before, but in 1997 I was living in NYC and going to grad school. They use to do the draft on a Saturday and Sunday at MSG. The night before the draft me and friend were at the ESPN zone and hung out with Orlando Pace and a few of his friends. It was quite something. He already knew he was going 1 overall. The next morning we went to the draft and it was insane. In between live sets the commentators for ESPN would interact with the crowd and joke around. There were a bunch of Philly fans and they basically booed and catcalled every pick. It was so much fun. I doubt things are as laid back now.

    That's only two a piece. Are you trying to make an important point? They've both played a handful of games sporadically.

    depth will show for a while. Put PCA at the bottom of the order. Tell him his job is to get on base by an means. Hopefully he listens.
