  1. i thought we had already established earlier this year that every conference sucks and no conferences play tough OOC schedules
  2. well we graduated our two best players last year, maybe the two best players in the league. But bucknell graduated two important guys as well, and they've lost 3 players to injury already. We were picked to win the league again this year, but that probably has as much to do with us winning 4 of the last 6 years as it does the level of talent on this team. I think we have pretty good potential, but the league is a lot more wide-open than last year (when the only PL games that HC and Bucknell lost were at each other's home courts)
  3. anything the basketball team does will be fun after the ass-pounding the football team has taken all year. This coming from a Penn State basketball fan? Talk about butt pounding year after year. hey i'm a holy cross fan
  4. It would help if the conference didn't refuse to play ND after September. Yea, scheduling Notre Dane would really help the Big Tens out of conference schedule lol. I have heard some grumbling this year about a lack of bye week. Dantonio said something about a lack of bye week and I think I remember hearing another Big 10 coach say something about it. It would probably help get some players healthy. I am not sure how much more it might help. teams are reluctant to play more than one legitimate OOC game because they don't have time to prepare for more good teams and recover physically as well. I know the Big 11 has ALWAYS ended the weekend before thanksgiving, but maybe they can look around and see that ending a solid two weeks before a lot of other major conferences puts them at a significant disadvantage. But no, God forbid we mess with tradition.

  6. he's still getting limited TOI too (letting the wrist strengthen and getting back into game shape)
  7. it would really help the big ten's ability to schedule tough OOC games if they'd stop ending their season the weekend before thanksgiving every year.
  8. it's official, i have a man crush on mike richards (the flyers' center, not the racist seinfeld guy)
  9. which assumes that sagarin's ratings are perfect, and that's definitely an airtight assumption
  10. i like callis but apparently i disagree with him a whole lot when it comes to prospects
  11. okay i'll bump out georgia... oh wait they beat florida
  12. I don't know, I seem to remember the Colts beating up on the Bears in the "elements". plus i don't think the chargers are exactly used to playing in poor conditions
  13. espn is falling all over themselves asking what's wrong with the colts, who's to blame for last night's debacle... uhh their entire team is hurt, they were playing a game on the west coast against a talented team, their great qb had a bad game, and they were coming off a huge game and were ripe for a letdown. the colts, when healthy, are the second best team in the league. let's keep some perspective.

  17. hahaha nice penalty cowboys
  18. stupid eagles
  19. can we stop saying "shades of doug flutie" every time a qb makes a good play?
  20. wow free shoes u. completely imploded at the end of this game... they played the chokies pretty tough, but i think it was just a little much to pull two big road upsets in consecutive weeks.
  21. Cements Dorrell's fate. :D But seriously, the only guys you can find to lateral the ball are the offensive lineman? It's great seeing 300-lb Micah Kia rumbling witht he ball...and then throwing it forward. best play in football, fatty running with the football. pretty awesome when he has no idea what to do with it, too.
  22. hawai'i versus kansas!
  23. way to handle the loss with class, buckeyes
  24. F-U was looking for N-O, but yours works too
