jed lowrie's stats. he's average defensively. i like lowrie to put up somewhere around a .270/.350/.450 line for the next few years, which is better than we'd do from anybody in-house. but yeah, the red sox don't have any real needs aside from a front line starter (which the cubs aren't in position to deal away), and they're a well-run, well-managed organization that understands the value of their assets. so i don't see much way that we'd get our hands on lowrie.
