Yeah he deserves to play. I feel bad for Ronny though, he should be playing some. It's too bad he isn't right handed to he could platoon with Pie in center. hell he can probably hit RHP better than johnson; it'd be hard to do much worse.

To be fair, they've had a pretty easy schedule so far. the marlins are supposed to be the easy part of other teams' schedules

yeah we NEED to upgrade in CF, the lack of good offense from that position is totally crippling the cubs' offense!!! just out of curiosity, what does matt sinatro do in between lou's managerial stints? clean lou's pool? pick up his dry cleaning?

God how nice is it to root for a team that draws a lot of walks and puts pressure on pitchers by getting into good hitters counts? there's definitely never been a time that i've been so satisfied about the day-to-day offense the cubs put out on the field.

this offense doesn't totally make up for the trash we rolled out there the last few years, but it's a big step in the right direction.

I'm sold on his ability to put up a good OBP. I don't but that his slugging can stay where it is, at all. yeah, his OBP is very batting average dependent, and he's not gonna hit .330 all year. probably can be somewhere around .290/.350/.390 though.

if i got enough chances i'm sure i could roll one down the line or split a gap. the first time against major league pitching? i'd strike out and i'm pretty sure i'd look like a complete idiot while doing so. -
he won't do well. he's washed up. to sum up, this is how the cubs think: Felix Pie, 70 PAs, 222/286/286/573 - can't hack it against major league pitching Jim Edmonds, 103 PAs, 178/265/233/498 - still has something left in the tank competent organizations do not operate in this manner.

why not dig up mickey mantle's corpse and put him in CF, he could hit lefty.
