That's the problem. He wasn't thinking. it's like he kept hoping that marmol's struggles would just iron themselves out in this game. i understand starting the inning with him with a pretty comfortable cushion, but when he is putting everyone on base it's time to go to marshall.

i will say that marmol has had some really bad luck the past couple of weeks... everything is finding holes right now. that said, he should've been removed from this game before it got to this point.

zambrano - combination of offense and pitching has made him more valuable than anyone else. i voted for soto though, since he's my dawg.

he already is a good pitcher for them; he will become a very good pitcher for them There was nothing wrong with that gun as I was there and he was throwing that hard!!! Sean was pumped for the first few innings as he wanted to make a good impression with his new team........ I sat near a few scouts and can't repeat what they had to say about Sean's performance tonight. He's so much more relaxed and loves that he's going to get the ball every fifth day..... =D> he looked great last night, and it seemed like he had a great attitude about the trade - rather than thinking of it as a negative, he was flattered that he was the centerpiece of a trade for such a great pitcher. hopefully he still has a soft spot in his heart for the cub organization. best of luck to him along the way; i'll be watching and rooting for him.

yeah nobody cares that rich is pitching against rookies. if he's throwing strikes it doesn't really matter whether he's pitching against little leaguers or AAA hitters, he's going to do well.
