  1. reds are doing a lot of "hitting 'em where they ain't" today
  2. Does Arrojo play on the same team as Meddenhall? Did I misspell his last name or something? it's arroyo
  3. when the hell did jerry hairston learn how to hit?
  4. definitely going to be a rain delay at some point.
  5. he's probably more like skippy schumaker... guys who have been in the organization their whole careers, but their minor league numbers didn't suggest that they could play this well at the big league numbers.
  6. let's see the classic theriot dump into right field.
  7. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u257/mistercolvin/output.gif
  8. that's certainly something to take into account, because marte is probably a type A free agent. i'd think that marte could bring a pretty nice prospect back, especially since everyone is looking for a LOOGY at the deadline, but if not, just hang onto him and take the two picks.
  9. this prediction did not go as planned for reds44
  10. bold words from a guy who's made none of his opinions known except for his unhealthy adulation of the papacy.
  11. just don't let him go to the cards, he'll turn into ludwick part ii there.
  12. It's actually been so bad that I mute the game for the stretch... and usually the interview afterwards as well. the only good thing is that the cubs seem to be monsters in the 7th inning after the stretch. paging fred for this stat...
  13. let's get another run so that adam dunn's 8th inning homer doesn't tie it up.
  14. i blame fred and the thread title for the lack of cub production so far. we'd have several runs off of dusty baker's reds by now.
  15. yeah that is my guess too. hawk and kingman didn't hit enough in the AL. i can't think of any other big-power guys who played for the cubs.
