    yeah something tells me that teams aren't going to be falling all over themselves to trade for a RF who's below average offensively and is due $38m over the next 3 years. that is one ugly contract, fo' sho'. Yeah, I didn't think it was actually going to happen. Will Kosuke end up beating Jeromy Burnitz' 2005 OPS+ of 94? He's currently at 96. the cubs wanted an upgrade from matt murton so they ended up signing... matt murton.

    A soft tossing lefty beating the Cubs.....no way! I thought we were past that weakness. Apparently not. we have 2 runs and 7 baserunners in 3 innings, for God's sakes.

    Well it'll be awhile. They wouldn't play until the Big 12 Championship. yeah i think mizzou is a shoo-in for that, but i guess texas or even texas tech could keep oklahoma out.

    on the phillies broadcast they said last inning that the cubs have 17 hits in the last 12 innings, all of which have been singles.

    meh whatever, he's fine. he was never good in the first place, but he can play solid defense at ss so that's good enough out of a backup infielder who can play both infield positions. he should hardly play at all in the playoffs.

    boy the acc sure powered up the failmobile, huh? -virginia tech lost to east carolina -n.c. state shut out by south carolina -virginia completely embarrassed at home by usc -maryland only beat delaware by a touchdown -unc struggled to beat mcneese state is it too early to declare the acc the worst bcs conference? maybe duke has a chance to win it.

    Frankly, I think Mizzou would flatten every other team in the Big Ten with the exception of Ohio State. That would be a fun game to watch. yeah, I'm not prepared to talk trash about Illinois until after Penn State plays them. I'm not very confident right now, even with the game at home. i'm not talking trash, but some illinois fans have gotten pretty cocky about their team. i think they forget that they were horrible 2 years ago. and frankly it seems like they have a lot of punks on their team too, getting up and hopping around after every first down or tackle for a loss.
