    I'm not sure about that. I'd rather skip starts now than the middle of the month, when the schedule is going to be tougher. The 12th through the 25th is going to be the time to drop the hammer, IMO. Particularly during Milwaukee's 7 gamer in Philly and Chicago. They may close a game or two on us in the interim, but that's where the Cubs can really put it away, I think. Also, that 4 game series with at the Mets looks like it may be relevant. Maybe, but if we don't win tonight, we're looking at Lilly, Marshall, and Marquis coming up... 8 game losing streak, anyone? Dempster's gotta stop it tonight. lol wow way to get ahead of yourself i like how 13-8 lilly, 9-8 marquis and 3-4 marshall are each locks to lose.

    what, when the cubs only have a 99.75% chance of making the playoffs? i'd say that's a great time to be skipping guys' starts.

    i know this might be an overreaction because this game isn't going exactly like i had hoped, but the cubs should probably be contracted.

    What's hard to understand that some of us get frustrated as hell with this nonsense? Look, this is baseball, I don't approach it with the 100% logical common-sense approach I do with my professional life. I see Carlos Zambrano walk Michael Bourn and I start hopping around like a chimpanzee. I see our "ace" melt down at the worst possible time, I get agitated. as patton oswalt said about reality tv, "You go out and deal with dickheads and morons all day and you come home, and go “I just want to go home so I can watch dickheads and morons on TV." well, i follow the cubs and chat about the game in my spare time, and i prefer that my spare time not be occupied by dickheads and morons.

    I've never even thought about putting someone on my foes list until about 5 minutes ago. you should do it; you'll find your nsbb experience much more enjoyable.
