  1. 5 conference championship games in 10 years. can you dig up a list of nfl coaches who have accomplished that feat? i'm guessing that most of them would not be considered the worst coach in the league during their tenures. yeah and has lost 4 of them. reid isn't the worst coach in the nfl, but he's bad. stop acting like getting to the conference championship game proves otherwise. wrong. he won 1 and has his 5th one coming up. by my math that would leave 3 other games that he has coached in, which means that he has lost 3 of them. anyway, you seem to be of the opinion that a coach who makes some poor in-game decisions is a poor coach. i completely disagree and think that a coach's success or failure is much more contingent on properly motivating his players and having them prepared to perform well in games, and surrounding himself with the proper coordinators and coaches. since we disagree on this, i don't see the point in carrying on this conversation with you any longer. feel free to believe that andy reid is a bad coach, and i will feel free to believe that your opinion is ridiculous.

  3. philly (-3) @ arizona (o/u 48) baltimore @ pittsburgh (-5) (o/u 33)
  4. congrats on the 9-9 record this season, norv
  5. who is harder to take seriously, meph as a gators fan or VoR as a usc fan?
  6. yeah i was hoping to see them keep it closer, but when the other team makes 100% of their threes, you're probably going to get your ass kicked.
  7. Then maybe he shouldn't have tried to bash the Trojans. name 15 current trojans players without using a magazine/internet we won't hold our breath here mark sanchez uhhhh is matt leinart still around?
  8. i saw the interview where brian dawkins cried after the game. he's been playing like a man possessed since the raiders/texans upsets breathed new life into the eagles' season. he's a free agent after this year and has been in the league for 13 years now. i think he sees this as his last great chance to get a ring and damn i hope he gets it. he's probably my favorite eagle and i hope he caps off the Hall of Fame career with a championship.
  9. the riots here would be tremendous. eh, not so much in State College. I'd say SC is mostly Steelers fans most of the people who are permanent residents here are steelers fans. there's a large number of students who are eagles fans, however. there was a significant celebration in beaver canyon after the phillies won the world series.
  10. the riots here would be tremendous.
  11. eagles (-3) @ cardinals (O/U 48)
  12. hey on the bright side notre dame won a big bowl game this year.
  13. time out? what are they gonna do, score a touchdown and go for 20?
  14. depends on your definition of "play"
  15. yes all five of them must be ecstatic right now
  16. if this was the delhomme that played all season then you would've been fighting it out with the lions for the #1 draft pick.
  17. why does fox still have that animated robot? that thing was dumb like 10 years ago and it's still around.
  18. wow you suck delhomme
  19. someone should remind delhomme that if his first option isn't open, he doesn't have to throw the ball to that guy.
  20. i take it you missed the capitol one bowl last year?
  21. now you sound like a real bear fan. I'm a Chicago sports fan, what can I say? Only my NFL team waited an extra couple of weeks before delivering me the gut punch. Good job waiting 12 seconds to call that timeout, Fox. He has horrible clock management. i'm contractually obligated to remind people that the bulls won 75 championships in the '90s.
  22. you still interested? he could be right about the 41-10 part. (i was totally wrong too)
  23. It's not like Arizona is a terrible team. They played in a bad division, but this team obviously has explosive playmakers on offense and they are an extremely aggressive defense. still the panthers had to do two things to lose this game - turn the ball over a lot and let larry fitzgerald beat them. well, delhomme is playing horribly and the panthers have inexplicably employed a defensive game plan that involves leaving the other team's best player open.
